Soil type
Gentle south facing slopes - chalky-clay at the bottom with schist on the upper reaches.

Grape varieties
Grenache noirs grapes specially selected from 30 - 50yr vines.

Wine Making
Grapes are selected and sorted in the vineyard. They are picked by hand, de-stemmed, fermented (with skins), macerated 30 days. Pressing is with a pneumatic press - in manual mode. The juices are separated and the blended.

Maturing
The unfiltered and non-clarified wine is bottled in June following the harvest goes on maturing slowly.



 Pouderoux

The Wine
Beautiful garnet red colour, aromas of red fruits, cherry, black-berry.
Generous and well balanced
Full-bodied and well-structured: good tannins combined with a red fruit taste.


Ideal with balck Chocolate.
