MAURY Vendange 2006 Soil type Gentle south facing slopes - chalky-clay at the bottom with schist on the upper reaches. Grape varieties Grenache noirs grapes specially selected from 30 - 50yr vines. Wine Making Grapes are selected and sorted in the vineyard. They are picked by hand, de-stemmed, fermented (with skins), macerated 30 days. Pressing is with a pneumatic press - in manual mode. The juices are separated and the blended. Maturing The unfiltered and non-clarified wine is bottled in June following the harvest goes on maturing slowly. |
