MAURY Blanc Le sol Gently south facing slopes, chalky-clay until the mid party, with schist on the upper party. Grape varieties Grenache blancs and gris, Macabeu, Carignan Blanc, Malvoisie, more than 50 years old. Grapes are planted in the old grenache noir vineyards (old times tradition..) Wine making Grapes are selected and sorted in the vineyard. They are picked by hand, peeled, film macerated and pressed with a pneumatic press. The juice are blended and clarified in cool atmosphere. Maturing The unfiltered wine is put in barrels, and then vats of 350 l for 2 years. |
