Soil Type
Gently sloping terraces, the bottom with schist, encirceld by granit creating a fencing.

Grape Varieties
Four grapes are growing in this fencing : Carignan planted in 1901 (50%), Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache.

Winemaking
Grapes are selected and sorted in the vineyard, picked by hand, de-stemmed, traditional long maceration. Pressed with a pneumatic press and then put in barrels.

Maturing
Matures in Oak barrels in air conditioned cellars for 12 months




Pouderoux

Dégustation
Very elegant dark red color with tints of ruby
Aroma of fruits, Cherries, Blackcurrant and gentle spices.
Taste is ample and light, a nice blended harmonie of cherries and liquorice. Tannins from small grapes, very silky.


Excellent with grilled Lamb chops or a roast of Lamb, or Veal Medallion...
